Introduction to ZPG/GPT disc vacuum filter
ZPG/GPT disc vacuum filter is a device that uses vacuum as filtering power to separate solids and liquids from slurry. It is mainly
composed of distribution head, bearing, material guide and discharge device, filter disc, main shaft, stirring device, tank body,
ore feeding device, stirring transmission, main shaft transmission, centralized lubrication system and other main components.
It absorbs the advantages of domestic and foreign models and optimizes the design for metal minerals with high density, fast
sedimentation speed and high viscosity. It has the advantages of sturdy and durable structure, stable operation of filter disc, reliable
automatic speed change stirring seal, and prevention of slurry leakage. The filter fan is made of high-strength engineering plastics
with large porosity and high-strength nylon single thick wire filter cloth. The surface is smooth, the cake discharge rate is high and
not easy to clog, and the service life is long. All these characteristics ensure that metal minerals obtain excellent dehydration indicators
during dehydration.

Disc vacuum filter is a device that uses vacuum as filtering power to separate solid and liquid in slurry. ZPG disc vacuum filter is
suitable for dehydration of iron ore and nonferrous metal concentrate, as well as dehydration in coal washing plants, non-metallic
minerals, chemical industry and environmental protection.
The requirements for dehydration objects are as follows:
① Mineral particle size is 200 mesh to 400 mesh.
② Slurry concentration is 35%-65% (metallic minerals) or 20%-40% (coal and other light materials).
③ Slurry temperature is 10℃-50℃.
④ The material is non-corrosive (special design is required when handling corrosive materials).
Equipment in operation
Working Principle
The disc vacuum filter is a solid-liquid separation device. The filter disc is driven by a speed-regulating motor through a reducer and
an open gear transmission. It rotates at a certain speed in a tank filled with slurry. When a filter fan of the filter disc is in the filter
adsorption area, a pressure difference is formed on both sides of the filter medium with the help of a vacuum pump, so that the solid
material is adsorbed on the filter medium (filter cloth) and forms a filter cake. The filtrate is discharged through the filtrate pipe and
the distribution head. When this filter fan is separated from the slurry level and enters the dehydration area, the filter cake is
continuously separated from the water under the suction force of the vacuum, and further discharged from the filtrate pipe and the
distribution head, so that the filter cake is dried. After entering the unloading area, the filter cake is unloaded from the filter disc with
backblowing and a scraper, falls into the discharge trough, and is transported away by the ore collection belt conveyor. The entire
operation process is carried out continuously.
